Community Involvement

Tahoe Custom Builders is committed to serving the communities of North Texas by donating time and resources to make our neighborhoods a better place to live and work.

In particular, Jay Brown has served the City of Keller (Tahoe Custom Builders’ headquarters) for the past nine years on Keller’s Planning and Zoning Commission. He has been the Chairman of Keller’s P&Z for the past four years. Additionally, he sat on the city’s Technical Review Committee, working with city staff and the development community to implement comprehensive revisions to Keller’s Unified Development Code.
While we support a number of charitable efforts in Northeast Tarrant County, our primary philanthropy is the Meals on Wheels association. Senior hunger is prevalent in Texas, and Jay has been delivering Meals on Wheels to Tarrant County seniors for more than 15 years. He also serves on an outreach committee formed by a local Meals on Wheels association that is designed to assist seniors with small repairs and upkeep to their homes.
While serving our customers keeps us busy, Tahoe Custom Builders is proud to take the time and energy to stay involved with the communities that have supported our business for all these years.
